The United Way Leeds & Grenville has teamed up with the Gananoque Ice Pad
Project to offer hockey enthusiasts (and those who simply care about people) the
opportunity to raise money to help make positive changes to lives in our community.
It was the late MP Gord Brown’s vision to create a better life for all the citizens
of Leeds & Grenville.
The event will allow you to participate in a hockey game with NHL alumni, previous
players including Federal. Provincial and Municipal politicians, local celebrities and
business owners. Prior to the game, players & sponsors will have an opportunity to
mingle in our VIP lounge. We are planning a raffle and a silent auction. You will also
be invited to our VIP Post-Game party where team members and participating
NHL greats will join together for some local fare, fun & festivities.
The game will be held at the Lou Jeffries Gananoque & TLTI Recreation Centre on
Wednesday November 28, 2018. Co-chairs will be Gord Brown’s sons Chance and
Tristan. Their Dad was so important to them.
By participating in the Gord Brown Memorial Hockey Game, you simultaneously
build brand awareness and give back to your community. Our exclusive sponsorship
packages offer you unique client and employee engagement opportunities as
well as a chance to meet hockey celebrities, network with influential community
leaders and align your brand with a respected and recognized community charity.
More importantly, the funds you provide will directly impact the lives of the people
who depend on the support of the United Way.
